Vocabulary Posters
The easiest, no prep, day that equals creativity
If you are tired, need a break, the students need a day to chill, or review, there is nothing like a little poster-making.
Just grab poster paper, pens and markers, and pick out a few vocab words from the unit you are in, and have students pick them out of a hat.
They write the definitions, draw a picture, make it look clean and nice, and you hang it on the walls.
It’s fun, the kids draw the wildest stuff to make it their own, and you can even easily make it fit the SCENIC Math group roles. Great for a review day.
Step by step:
Gather materials: Large paper, lots of markers and pens, rulers, etc.
Make your vocab list for the unit you are in, or just other important vocabulary words
