thankless job

There’s an argument to be had that every single job is thankless. No one notices the hard work, all the extra hours, the dedication, the love and passion you put into something you care about.

I’m not hear to say teaching is any more or less thankless than other ones… but…

When you get those thank-yous, when a kid lets you know how much they appreciate you, and sees the effort and love and care… It means something more than words can describe.
